BACKGROUND

Ms. Widhalm was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. She attended St. Ladislaus Catholic School and earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Benedictine University. 

 

WHY I LOVE TO TEACH

“I love teaching because it is a field where I can glorify God by sharing my faith, gifts, and talents. I find extreme value in nurturing and forming the next generation (or 2!.)”

 

Ms. Widhalm enjoys teaching 1st and 2nd grade because it is the foundation of all learning. She loves introducing new content, skills, and ideas to children as their world expands at this age. It is an extra blessing that children can make their First Holy Communion at this age and learn about their Catholic faith.

 

WHY ARCHANGELS ACADEMY

Ms. Widhalm believes it is God’s providential plan that led her to Archangels Academy.
