Our halls were filled with laughter, love, and the joyful presence of our grandparents as we celebrated Grandparents Day! The day began with a beautiful Mass at Sacred Heart Parish, bringing together students and their grandparents in prayer and gratitude. Afterward, the celebration continued with games, crafts, and cherished moments shared in classrooms. Grandparents experienced firsthand the vibrant spirit of our school community as smiles and stories filled the day. It was a wonderful reminder of the faith, family, and fellowship that form the heart of Archangels Academy.

Our students and staff were truly blessed to participate in a three-day retreat with the Sisters of the Children of Mary. Throughout the retreat, students immersed themselves in Mass, Adoration, crafts, songs, and small group learning, deepening their faith in a meaningful and joyful way. The presence and guidance of these wonderful sisters left a lasting impact on everyone involved, enriching both hearts and minds.
We are deeply grateful for this unforgettable experience!
Lessons from the Courtroom
We were honored to welcome Honorable Judge Justin Hansen of the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Court of McHenry County to our campus. Judge Hansen led an engaging and insightful discussion with our upper school students, offering a deeper understanding of the judicial system. He also hosted an informative Q&A session, providing students with the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and gain valuable insights.
Thank you, Judge Hansen, for generously sharing your time and expertise with our students!

Archangels Academy welcomed Justin Fatica and the Hard as Nails Ministry for an inspiring and action-packed event. Our students experienced a powerful talk that deepened their relationship with Jesus and motivated them to take action in their faith. This unforgettable afternoon highlighted the importance of spiritual growth and community, reinforcing our commitment to fostering strong faith foundations in our students.
In his recent pastoral letter, Bishop James Conley of the Diocese of Lincoln Nebraska describes the value of Catholic education. He states: "Catholic schools are not merely information delivery systems focused on secular success, but rather are about transformation in Christ. Our educational mission goes far beyond conveying factual knowledge of history, science, literature, or even faith; it begins and ends with students' potential for holiness.
"Every student is made for holiness, made to become a saint."
