BACKGROUND

Mrs. Schoen grew up in Elmhurst and Arlington Heights, IL and attended Willows Academy for Girls.

  

WHY I LOVE TO TEACH

“I love teaching because it is a joy to guide the next generation to love God and to love learning. The students inspire me in my faith journey and are so fun to work with each day. They are always coming up with great ideas for works of mercy and for giving back to our community. I love seeing their faith in action”

 

I really enjoy teaching 3rd and 4th grade because at this age the students are very curious and imaginative. Every day is an adventure

 

WHY ARCHANGELS ACADEMY

I was drawn to Archangels Academy because it embodies authentic Catholic values and has quality curriculum. I feel blessed to teach at Archangels and have my daughter attend here as well!

 

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

My husband, Joe and I are both teachers and cherish our summers together. I love to travel, attend concerts, and enjoy the beach. I am an avid reader, coffee drinker and youth ministry volunteer. My favorite things are children and flowers!
