BACKGROUND

Mrs. Kiernicki grew up in Arlington Heights, IL and attended Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. She went out to attend the American Academy of Art in Chicago

WHY I LOVE TO TEACH
“Jesus was a teacher and God is so good that he has created a beautiful world for us to enjoy! I love inspiring the next generation of creative artists and designers to use their observation skills, talents, and ideas to Glorify God, the greatest Creator. Art is an outlet for emotional expression and a relaxing discipline of the heart mind and spirit.”

 

“I especially love teaching kids about form, color, light and texture through multiple mediums and application processes.”

 

I love to see our families at church on Sunday. It reminds me of the greater heavenly truth that we are all adopted children of God, with a multitude of Saints and angels praying for us to be Home with them forever. All the kids here have huge hearts for God and the creative arts which makes them so fun and rewarding to teach!

 

WHY ARCHANGELS ACADEMY
The welcoming faith-filled community of Archangels Academy is the perfect place for me to combine my great love for the Catholic Church, my vocational passion for Art/Art history, and my desire to inspire the next generation in both areas. I am a life-long Catholic and happily raised my four adult children within and homeschool Classical Education. Combining the joys of historical faith, scripture/academic learning and relationships leads to lifelong friendships!

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

I love traveling, skiing, camping horseback riding and animals in the beauty of God’s Creating. In addition, I love sewing, gardening, campfires and cookouts with my adult children and granddaughter.
